Several years ago I started experimenting by adding glass beads to my stained glass work.  I began with small pieces progressing to larger work.  The sunflower is the first large piece I created.  The center of the sunflower is several hundreds of glass beads patiently sewn to create the proper shadowing and reflective effect.  The result was breathtaking and I was hooked on stained glass beading. 

My paintings are always inspired by nature.  I enjoy adding  texture to my paintings through various methods depending on the subject matter.  I encourage people to touch my paintings and experience the subject not only through their eyes.  Enjoy the explosion of colour in falling leaves or the calm blue water of a sandy beach.
